COACHES/ADMINS

Coach Boone played at the University of Kentucky.  Won the SEC Championship finishing in the top 8 in the Nation while Player/Coach (Backs). Moved to Nashville in 1988 and played flyhalf/scrumhalf with the Nashville Rugby Club where they competed in two National Championships finishing as Finalists in both. In 2001, along with six other highly motivated Rugby Enthusiasts, started High School Rugby.  

Coached Brentwood High School with Mike Haverstick to 5-straight State Championships, finishing 5th in the Nation in 2006 while also coaching the Raptors in their first season (2006) where they finished as Finalists in the Division II State Cup.  Raptor Rugby Director for the last 15 years.  During that time the Raptors have enjoyed 17 State Championships, 19 State Finalists, & 2 USA South Finalists! 

Coach Peter is excited for the opportunity to get to know everyone and do his best to pass down everything he has been lucky enough to learn about this game from people who

understand it much better than he does!

Coach Michael is a passionate former player and supporter of Rugby across the board.  He first found Rugby at the University of Kentucky, but became fully engaged in Hong Kong, before playing in the Philippines.  Coach Michael played in the Hong Kong 7s Division II bracket and was a force of speed and picture perfect tackles!  He met his wife through Rugby and from there moved on to England where he brought his 3 very talented Rugby playing kids into the world.  His passion for the game, the kids, and his local Club Chobham, was recognized when he was named Parent Volunteer of the year.  His support of his England Home club has continued to today.   Michael has moved to become our Middle School Admin, biggest supporter, and Recruiter!

Coach Jesse is our Miracle and Head Middle School Coach!  He has come through our system as a player from day 1 in Middle School at Sunset Middle winning multiple Championships along the way with both Sunset and the Raptors, the final one in his senior year (2016) as our starting Hooker.  He is one of the most passionate and energetic young man you will ever meet.  He makes his living now as a Mortgage Broker with the family business and is building a success there too!  Never had any doubts ...
