Coach Boone played at the University of Kentucky.  Won the SEC Championship finishing in the top 8 in the Nation while Player/Coach (Backs). Moved to Nashville in 1988 and played flyhalf/scrumhalf with the Nashville Rugby Club where they competed in two National Championships finishing as Finalists in both. In 2001, along with six other highly motivated Rugby Enthusiasts, started High School Rugby.  

Coached Brentwood High School with Mike Haverstick to 5-straight State Championships, finishing 5th in the Nation in 2006 while also coaching the Raptors in their first season (2006) where they finished as Finalists in the Division II State Cup.  Raptor Rugby Director for the last 15 years.  During that time the Raptors have enjoyed 17 State Championships, 19 State Finalists, & 2 USA South Finalists! 

Coach Michael is a passionate former player and supporter of Rugby across the board.  He first found Rugby at the University of Kentucky, but became fully engaged in Hong Kong, before playing in the Philippines.  Coach Michael played in the Hong Kong 7s Division II bracket and was a force of speed and picture perfect tackles!  He met his wife through Rugby and from there moved on to England where he brought his 3 very talented Rugby playing kids into the world.  His passion for the game, the kids, and his local Club Chobham, was recognized when he was named Parent Volunteer of the year.  His support of his England Home club has continued to today.   Michael has moved to become our Middle School Admin, biggest supporter, and Recruiter!

Coach Dan is from Salt Lake City, Utah. He played High School Rugby for Highland HS,

winning the National Title in 1995. Dan went on to the University of Utah earning a Master’s Degree in Economics while also playing Rugby for both the University and the Salt Lake Men’s Team – Haggis RFC.  Dan moved to Chicago and became a stalwart with the USA D1 Chicago Griffins.  He started at fullback from 2000-2006, playing in six consecutive USA sweet 16 tournaments with three Final Four appearances. Dan was selected for the All Star Midwest Thunderbirds, a representative side that toured New Zealand. 

In 2009-2010 Dan returned to Utah and coached Wasatch High School Rugby which was a combination of Murray HS (Salt Lake) and Park City HS (Park City) leading them to two successful, winning seasons. 

Coach Jesse is our Miracle and Head Middle School Coach!  He has come through our system as a player from day 1 in Middle School at Sunset Middle winning multiple Championships along the way with both Sunset and the Raptors, the final one in his senior year (2016) as our starting Hooker.  He is one of the most passionate and energetic young man you will ever meet.  He makes his living now as a Mortgage Broker with the family business and is building a success there too!  Never had any doubts ...

Coach Crumm is a graduate of Brentwood HS, but did not start playing Rugby until his University of Tennessee College days.

Coach Crumm started a program from scratch at Central Magnet HS in Murfreesboro.  We were ever so fortunate as to have Coach Crumm join us when he became a Teacher at Ravenwood HS.  He is a HIGH Character Coqch, full of integrity, kindness, and intellect.  He is very passionate about the players and their Rugby potential.  When not focusing on Rugby, Coach Crumm is focusing on Greek Mythology, Latin, and rare ancient sanskrits!  Amazing young man, talented, and OURS!   Coach Crumm is a tremendous help with all of our players with a focus on our Girls HS Program.
